Main Requirements
Photo size and aspect ratio
- Size: 35mm (width) × 45mm (height)
- Aspect ratio: 7:9 (width/height)
- Face size: The head must occupy 70-80% of the photo height (about 32-36mm from chin to top of head).
Head position and orientation
- The face must be centered and straight, without any tilt.
- Eyes must be on the horizontal line and located 23-35mm from the bottom of the photo.
- The head must be fully visible without any cropped parts (e.g., forehead or chin must not be cut off).
Facial expression and eyes
- Neutral facial expression — no smile, frown, or raised eyebrows.
- Mouth closed — teeth should not be visible.
- Eyes open and clearly visible, looking directly at the camera.
- No red-eye effect or glare on glasses.
Glasses, headwear, and accessories
- Glasses are allowed but must not cause glare or reflection; no dark or tinted lenses.
- Headwear is not allowed, except for religious or medical reasons (must not cover main facial features).
- Large earrings, hats, or accessories that obscure the face are not allowed.
Background and lighting
- Plain, light-colored background (white, light gray, or beige).
- No shadows on the face or background.
- The photo must not be overexposed or too dark — the face must be evenly lit.
- No strong contrast or artificial lighting.
Photo quality and resolution
- High resolution (at least 600 dpi for digital photos).
- No compression artifacts, noise, or blurriness.
- No filters, retouched, or edited photos allowed.
- Photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
Common Mistakes
Please do not upload passport copies that contain:
- Smile or open mouth
- Shadows on face or background
- Head too small or too large
- Glasses with glare or dark lenses
- Unprocessed or dark photos
- No neutral background (e.g., patterned or dark background)
